Make your plan - either choose how many weeks your school year will be (and the state doesn’t decide that - you do!) and check them off as you go, taking breaks as needed OR start by marking your Christmas break, then schedule backward up into September working in your breaks and then start again in January and work forward, marking in determined breaks until you want the school year to be complete.
